Sketchbook collection Yuzen was inspired by the beautiful Japanese Chiyogami Paper, also known as Yuzen Washi Paper, which is synonymous for Japanese style and quality. Each color and metallic gold highlight of this amazing paper that is individually layer by layer, hand silkscreened onto a high-quality kozo base. The pattern itself is inspired by Kimono fabric with design painstakingly crafted by artists across Japan.
Each individual sketchbook consist of 128 pages of 100 gsm Fedrigoni Arcoprint dotted paper, perfect for taking notes or doing sketches that need an order while following the grid. Pages are sewed together using coptic stitch binding that will guarantee ease of turning and handling the pages and decorated with coloured bookbinding cloth tape on the spine and attached to the cover using a flexible swiss binding technique. Each sketchbook is accompanied by a ribbon bookmark. Finally, the hard cover is decorated by the beautiful Japanese Chiyogami Yuzen Paper.
